A little about me. Hi, my name’s Tim Halloran and I created this website. I became an affiliate marketer in the early 2000’s after trying Forex marketing and buying and selling on eBay. I figured there had to be a better way to use the internet and digital technology to earn from my laptop. After joining a bunch of online training courses I realised the power of affiliate marketing.
At first I was trying everything on a super low budget. My work life was difficult and I had qualified to join the British Stunt Register and become a stuntman in 2002. But work was sporadic and I had to take a number of fill in jobs. This became such a chore that I became determined to learn how to make a living online.

I tried all kinds of marketing strategies, from blogging, niche website building to paid advertising. After a lot of failure and struggle I eventually found a group of affiliate marketing mentors who helped me. I had sold a number of physical products from the likes of eBay and Amazon, but had struggled selling digital products – which of course pay more. I realised that I wasn’t using the most profitable digital products and that the ones I had promoted from Clickbank were not the best ones to promote.
There were other products which were of much higher value and which paid much larger commissions. Specifically those were high ticket affiliate products. While you can sell both high ticket physical products and digital products, physical ones paid lower rates of commission. Typically a physical product will only pay between 1% and 10% commission. With manufacturing costs and delivery costs there’s obviously less available for affiliate commissions. But with digital products there’s no manufacturing or delivery costs which is why they can afford to pay affiliates so much more. Typically a digital product will pay between 30% and 40% commission.
I realised that with a high value digital product, my efforts would bear much greater fruit for a similar amount of work.
This realisation led me to want to build a site like this one to help other struggling affiliates discover the potential of this amazing business model.

Whether you are a struggling affiliate or have had great success with affiliate marketing, using high ticket digital products can definitely help you earn more money from your skills as an online marketer. With low value products like you might find on Amazon or eBay, and with low percentage commissions, you’re going to need to make thousands of sales continuously in order to make your online business pay. But with a few high ticket sales, and the sales of subscription affiliate programs, you can build up a regular income much more quickly and with less effort.
